Accepted as a goofy, fun-loving, smart kid in the 8th grade, my son is now a young man with numerous awards and honors from The Hotchkiss School in Connecticut and Morehouse College…most recently, the first Freshman to place in The Otis Moss Oratorical Contest in decades…he won 2nd place. He also represented the United States twice in international competitions in Australia and Malaysia…2nd place again.
I was just looking for an outlet to sharpen his skills. But we received so much more. Over the years, this program has provided him with much more than just “debate tactics.” Through Mr. Fleming’s mentorship and the rigorous environment of Veritas, he developed the discipline and critical thinking skills that led him to win in the classroom, on stage, but most importantly, in LIFE.
