Our family has followed the Veritas journey since its days as the Harvard Diversity Project, and watching it grow into what it is today has only deepened our belief in what it stands for. When our daughter joined the program, we witnessed an almost immediate shift — not just in her ability to debate, but in how she thinks. She approaches challenges with root cause analysis rather than reaction. She speaks with conviction. She reasons with clarity and intention. These are not skills her traditional middle school curriculum was building, and they are exactly the muscles she will need as she pursues a career in law. What makes Veritas truly special is the people behind it. Mr. Fleming’s deep experience with Harvard and the world of competitive debate, paired with the Operational and School Leadership that keeps this program running with such care and intentionality, creates an environment where scholars are genuinely seen and developed. Our daughter is still very much in the thick of it, every Saturday, committed to a full day of learning and growth, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young woman she is becoming through this journey. She takes what she learns at Veritas and applies it everywhere, in her academics, her relationships, and her community. That kind of transformation is rare, and we are so grateful to be on the journey with Veritas!
