Closing the Inequality Gap: This school is designed to train champions of equity. VS3 is a humanities-based curriculum that holds social impact at the center of innovation and enterprise. It is a curriculum that teaches students how to critically examine problems in society (social science) in order to develop innovative solutions and businesses that will enhance the quality of life for everyone (empathetic enterprise).
In partnership with the Harvard Debate Council, every student begins their freshman year with a summer education at Harvard University.
In addition to the four standard core courses (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies), the following higher-level disciplines will be taught by college adjunct faculty:
We are creating global citizens through exposure to diverse people, cultures, and worldviews.
In partnership with local businesses, students will spend one full school day working within their field of interest gaining real-world experience.
Institution building is the key to social and economic advancement. Every student will be taught how to develop and sustain an initiative and will be required to present it as their senior capstone.
