Theese past 2 weeks, I have had the honor of participating in the Harvard Debate Councils worlds schools division residential program. The time I spent on Harvard’s campus has been both insightful, and full of joyous experiences. Within the last few days of the workshop, I competed in a tournament with hundreds of students, and I finished off in the quarter finals with a record of 5-0. I went into this workshop after only having 2 weeks of debate experience.
After tremendous struggle, confusion, and frustration. This experience has caused immense growth within my journey in debate, and I am extremely greatful for every second of experience that I have gained.
