Veritas has had an incredible impact on my daughter. Through the program, she has developed self-discipline, self-motivation, and responsibility.
The investment from alumni who dedicated their time to giving back was also a huge benefit. And the constructive criticism, although tough at times, was instrumental in helping her develop a sense of resilience and determination that will carry through to all of her future endeavors.
My daughter fully immersed herself in the program by joining study groups, participating in one-on-one sessions with alumni, and asking questions to deepen her understanding and development.
As a parent, I also experienced growth in understanding my own child. Witnessing her evolution and recognizing her limitless potential. On some occasions ,having to restrict the urge to instinctively jump to her rescue, when given time, she would prove herself to be more than capable tofresolving any issue put in front of her.
I was just looking for an outlet to sharpen his skills. But we received so much more. Over the years, this program has provided him with much more than just “debate tactics.” Through Mr. Fleming’s mentorship and the rigorous environment of Veritas, he developed the discipline and critical thinking skills that led him to win in the classroom, on stage, but most importantly, in LIFE.
