Our family spent two years thoughtfully evaluating Veritas before our daughter earned the privilege to join the community. She is an observant, reflective learner, and Veritas offered her exactly what she needed: an environment that would stretch her, challenge her, and allow her to shine.

Before her first assessment, Mr. Fleming and Mrs. Thomas gave us a candid wake‑up call: at her current level of engagement, she would struggle to succeed in this program. When our scholar explained that she had been taught to speak only when she had something “valuable” to say, Mr. Fleming responded with the clarity of a true coach: “That may work at home, but it will not work for you at Veritas. I cannot steer you if I cannot hear you.”

For a student who has always been a pace‑setter academically, this was exactly the kind of growth moment we hoped she would encounter. Both Mr. Fleming and Mrs. Thomas challenged her directly, named the areas where she needed to grow, and provided the academic and character‑building opportunities to help her rise to the expectations of the program.

Our scholar, Class of ’25, is a product of her environment. Her achievements reflect not only her own effort but also the investment, honesty, and high standards of the educators at Veritas who saw her potential and refused to let it go underdeveloped. For that, our family remains deeply grateful and confident in the mission and leadership of Veritas.
